Estonian Students Society for Environment Protection "Sorex" is a voluntary non-profit NGO for young people who are at least 16 years old. "Sorex" has been founded on the 10th of October in 1998. Currently the organisation comprises mainly 20-26 year old students of Estonian universities.

The main aims of "Sorex" are as follows:

to raise public awareness of ecological issues and arouse interest in nature;
to create nature and environmental friendly and sustainable way of thinking among young people;
to organise events aiming at protection of our environment and improvement of knowledge.
